Recycled. Biodegradable. Sustainable.
Our Process
The recycled materials we use come from waste fruit punnets that are made into reels of filament. These are used by our 3D printers to melt the plastic and reform it into our products. This material is fully biodegradable PLA, which will breakdown naturally in the environment. Industrially it can be recycled again or hot composted to quickly return the corn-based plastic back to nature.

What is bio-plastic?
This material is a sustainable and carbon-negative solution to our reliance on fossil fuels to provide plastics. Waste biomass from the production of corn, cassava or sugar is fermented into Lactic Acid. When condensed in the presence of a tin based catalyst, and the water removed, it forms a “plastic” known as PolyLactic Acid, or PLA. This process is also reversible which means that PLA can be recycled into virgin PLA indefinitely, and is the best method of disposal. PLA can also be industrially hot-composted.
-
Recycled
We are aware and concerned about the current state of consumerism in the world. Making sure that all of our materials are recycled is one of the ways we are reducing our impact on our environment.
-
Biodegradable
The way our world is currently setup for maximum profit at the cost of anything else has lead to the rise of "forever chemicals" such as plastics that are created for single use but made from materials that last for thousands of years. We are committed to using bio-degradable materials for every part of our process.
